Hungry Hannah: Healthy Banana & Apple Flapjack

So most of us love a bit of flapjack to nibble are way though at lunchtimes…but it is pretty fatty for us so I did a bit of research and came up with this recipe that combines….flapjack yumminess with a healthy twist.


50g Butter

2 tbsp of Peanut Butter

3 tbsp of Honey

2 Bananas (mashed)

1 Apple (peeled and grated)

250g of Oats


Preheat your oven to 160 degrees

Heat the butter, honey and peanut butter in a saucepan until melted.

Remove from the heat and add in the mashed bananas and grated apple. Stir until combined.

Add the oats to the mixture and mix well, then pour into a shallow tin and bake for 55 minutes.

So there you have it…a simple recipe that gives you a healthy treat at the end of it!
